This notice covers the WarehouseDirect.US website and information you provide when asking us about flooring or requesting a measurement. Payment, financing, social-media and other third-party services have their own privacy notices.
Information you provide
Our measurement-request form asks for your first and last name, phone number, project ZIP code, preferred warehouse, and optional rooms or project notes. A request identifier helps process the submission.
If you email, call or text us, the information you choose to share can include your contact details, flooring questions, project requirements and correspondence. Please do not send payment-card details, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive information through project notes or ordinary email.
When your browser connects to a website service, it sends technical request information such as your IP address, browser information and the page requested. Hosting and delivery services process this information to deliver the site.
How information is used
We use inquiry and project information to respond to questions, discuss flooring and availability, route requests to the selected warehouse, and arrange the next step for a measurement request. The measurement form asks for permission to call or text about that request; submitting it does not confirm an appointment.
Shopping preferences help display the warehouse you selected. Optional analytics help us understand how visitors use product pages and contact options. A measurement inquiry is not an application for financing.
Service providers and outside links
Measurement requests are sent through Resend, an email-delivery service, to the selected warehouse and our sales team. Email and telephone providers process communications made through their services. Calls are recorded and transcribed through Quo, our business phone service. Recordings and transcripts can contain your voice, phone number, questions and project details discussed during the call. You can use email if you prefer to contact us in writing.
When enabled and allowed, Google Analytics processes website usage information. Our analytics event code limits the information it sends to page paths, warehouse selection, product identifiers and interaction types. It does not deliberately add names, phone numbers, email addresses or project notes to those event fields.
Links to maps, social networks and financing services take you to other companies. Their information practices are governed by their own notices. Contact us before sending project details if you have questions about sharing information with an independent measurement or installation professional.
We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for advertising. Service providers still process information to deliver website, email, telephone and optional analytics services as described in this notice.
Cookies, preferences and analytics
The website uses browser storage to remember your selected warehouse, product-grid display preferences and analytics choice. These preferences stay in that browser until changed or cleared through your browser settings.
Google Analytics is optional. Where it is enabled, the consent panel lets you allow analytics or choose “No thanks.” The website is configured to load the analytics tag after permission. Google signals and advertising-personalization settings are disabled in the site configuration.
You can reopen the consent panel using “Cookie preferences” in the footer where analytics is active. You can also clear stored site data or manage cookies through your browser settings. Clearing preferences can reset your selected warehouse and cause the consent question to appear again. Changing consent does not erase information already collected.
For more information, read Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites using its services.
Retention and security
Customer inquiries are the calls, texts, emails and measurement requests you send about flooring. These can create messages, call recordings, transcripts and project records in our email and communication systems. We currently keep these records without a scheduled deletion date, so they may be retained indefinitely. You can contact sales@warehousedirect.us to ask about records relating to you or request deletion. A request does not guarantee that every record can be deleted; applicable recordkeeping requirements and other legal exceptions may apply.
No website or communication system can guarantee absolute security. Avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information. If you believe information has been sent to the wrong recipient or exposed, contact a warehouse promptly.
Your choices and requests
You can browse flooring and educational pages without submitting the measurement form. Providing the form’s required information is necessary to request follow-up through that form.
Contact us to ask about information you supplied, request a correction or deletion, or tell us you do not want further project follow-up. Depending on the request, we may need information to verify your identity and locate the relevant record. Available rights and exceptions depend on applicable law. Some records may need to be retained under applicable legal requirements.
When this policy is updated, the effective or revision date will identify the current version.
